It is always a pleasure when friends come to visit us. My friend Mary Grace (or Grace, as she goes by these days) spent her high school years here in St. Louis where her dad was a pastor. She and I met in a class at Samford but really got to know each other when we worked on the copy desk at "Southern Living." Her parents are now missionaries in Albania and were in town visiting some supporting churches. "MG" has been in India working on her thesis for her master's degree at an organization that assists people with disabilities. She and Andrew came to St. Louis to meet up with her parents. Andrew went to Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, and MG will be moving there in a few months. I'm thrilled to think about seeing her on future trips home.
